The first is the most accurate. If you're unsure, the third costs nothing.

Measure a ring that fits
Take a ring that fits the same finger well. Measure the inside diameter in millimetres, straight across, edge to edge.
Enter it under “A ring I own”.

Measure your finger
Wrap a thin strip of paper or string around the base of your finger. Mark where it meets, then lay it flat and measure the length in millimetres.
Make sure it can still slide over your knuckle, then enter it under “My finger”.

Before You Measure
Six small things that make a big difference.
Measure at the end of the day
Fingers are slightly larger in the evening and in warm weather, and smaller when cold. Measure when your hands are at a normal, comfortable temperature.
Measure three times
Take the measurement on three different occasions. If the results differ, go with the larger one.
Mind the knuckle
The ring has to slide over your knuckle. If your knuckle is much wider than the base of your finger, choose the size that passes over it comfortably.
Wide bands fit snugger
Signet rings and bands wider than 6 mm sit tighter on the finger. Consider going up a quarter to a half size.
Measure the right finger
Each finger — and each hand — is a different size. Your dominant hand is usually a little larger. A signet worn on the little finger needs that finger measured.

Converted using the international standard (ISO 8653) for inside circumference. EU sizes are rounded to the nearest millimetre, and India sizes only appear where one matches. If you fall between sizes, choose the larger one. Need a size outside this range? Message us and we'll confirm what's possible.

Questions about sizing.
What if I order the wrong size?
Many rings can be resized. Some designs — full eternity bands, deeply engraved or stone-set pieces — have limited resizing options, so it's always worth confirming your size before we begin. See Warranty, Care & Repairs.
Can I change my size on a bespoke order?
Yes, before production begins. Once your ring is made to your size, any later resizing is quoted before we proceed. Please check your size carefully when you approve your design.
Can phone apps or printable sizers be trusted?
They're a useful starting point, but screen and printer scaling vary. Measuring a ring that already fits is far more reliable.
Do you offer in-person sizing?
For UAE clients, a fitting can be arranged by appointment. Book a private consultation or message us.
